The Time Has ComeIt is with mixed emotions that I announce my impending retirement from chiropractic practice. Over the upcoming months, I will be gradually reducing my time in the clinic. Unless there are unforeseen changes, my final day will be September 18, 2025, Chiropractic’s 130th anniversary, which is also two days before my 70th birthday. It was 46 years ago that this young, excited new doctor, with a full head of hair, stepped across the graduation stage from chiropractic college. Thus began my life of service to the health and well-being of the communities I have had the privilege to have served. I have also been blessed to have mentored countless young chiropractors and chiropractic students who have served with me as interns and externs in the decades of my practices. The road of my life in the service of others through the gift of chiropractic has been filled with joy and amazement. I have been blessed to touch the lives of so many people to help make their lives better on many levels. I have been witness to the blessings of what some have called miracles. I do not claim credit for those wonderous events, as I have always remembered where all healing comes from. My journey in chiropractic is not coming to an end. It will just be expressing itself in new and different ways. I can honestly say that I do not know what form that expression will take, but my passion for chiropractic and how it changes lives will prevent me from being idle. I do plan to devote more time to Evelyn, my wonderful bride of 33 years. Without her by my side, my journey through life would have been much more difficult, and much less fun. Evelyn has also recently retired from the clinic, and is now enjoying taking care of our farm, our animals and spending time with our grandchildren. I’m quite sure our time will not be idle. I am certain our two daughters and five grandchildren (sixth on the way) will absorb more of our retirement as well. I want to thank all of you who have made the journey of my life up to this point so wonderful. I cannot begin to count all the ways you have touched my life and added blessings to me and my family. You shall aways hold a special place in my memory, and my heart. |

Evelyn Announces Her RetirementAfter years of service to our practice members and the staff at Braile Chiropractic, Evelyn is retiring into her new job – Grandma. Evelyn is the grandmother of five kids ages 4 to 12, and now there is a sixth child on the way. After decades of serving others in a chiropractic office, she will now be serving her grandchildren on a more consistent basis. Evelyn may also have more time to care for her animals and to spend time with one of her passions, caring for and riding her horses. You will still see Evelyn at the clinic from time to time as she will be serving in an advisory role during the transition to new staff. We all wish her the best and thank her for her dedication and friendship.
